BRENNA GALVIN, Attorney

Brenna Galvin helps individuals and families navigate the legal and emotional complexities of aging and disability. Her practice focuses on estate planning, long-term care planning, asset protection, Medical Assistance, Veterans benefits, special needs trusts, and estate and trust administration.

Brenna is known for her compassionate and practical approach. She listens deeply, explains clearly, and partners with her clients to create plans that reflect both their goals and their values. Brenna chose to become an attorney because she believes that law, at its core, is a helping profession.  As a trained end-of-life doula, she brings a unique sensitivity to her work, supporting families during times of transition with empathy and grace. Brenna provides resources that enhance clients’ quality of life and give them comfort in knowing that they have planned for the worst, so they can live their best.

Before joining Bravura, Brenna served as co-managing shareholder at a nationally respected elder law firm. She is active in a number of professional organizations driving the profession forward and advocating for issues impacting older adults and individuals with disabilities, including serving as the current chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Elder Law Section, past Board Director and current member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), past President and current member of the Minnesota NAELA Chapter, and past Board Director of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association.  In addition, Brenna serves on the Board of Kairos Alive!, a nonprofit that harnesses the power of the arts to build community and support well-being.

Brenna has been recognized by Minnesota Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2021-2025.  She was also selected to Minnesota Monthly’s list of Top Lawyers in Minnesota in 2024 and 2025.  Brenna was also featured in the book, A Survival Guide to Aging.  She was also interviewed by Kare 11’s Gordon Severson in Your Money / End of Life Planning.

Outside of work, you will likely find Brenna at a farmer’s market, rowing on the Mississippi River, exploring an art museum, or chasing after her beloved dog.
